# When will the Pantone Libraries be removed from Adobe Creative Cloud apps?

Based on our current mutual understanding, Pantone and Adobe have agreed to cease the distribution of the outdated Pantone Color libraries via Adobe’s Creative Cloud apps in November 2022. In order to distribute the up-to-date Pantone Colors, Pantone in collaboration with Adobe, has developed the [Pantone Connect Extension](https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.103029.html), an Adobe plug-in to minimize workflow disruption and to provide the updated libraries to the Adobe Creative Cloud users.
