Adding End User - License Management
When using the License Management portal, this allows you to create teams, activate domain(s) and assign seats to teams. This also allows you to invite co-admins or team admins that will have permissions to make changes within the License Management portal. (See difference between co-admin and team admin here).
When setting up the Multi-Seat license there are two options for how seats are assigned.
- CONCURRENT. The Team is created and a domain is activated (such as @pantone.com). This would mean that any user(s) logging into Pantone Connect with @pantone.com email would be able to claim a seat as long as one is available. These seats float amongst a team.
- USER EMAIL. This allows the Admin in the License Management portal to directly assign seats to specific email addresses for the number of seats they have. For example, if the license is for 25 seats the admin would be able to input 25 emails and each of these would have a seat assigned to their account directly.
Please know that the License Management portal administrator(s) does not need to consume a Pantone Connect seat. The License Management portal is only for setting up and managing the license, whereas ‘users’ of the license/seats do not need access to the License Management portal.
